Rove '99

Back in 1999 a group of comedians got together for a late night TV comedy show. Ten weeks later, the network came to their sense and booted them out. For those of you who missed it, and for those who forgot to tape it, here are the highlights of that exciting new program launched on an unsuspecting TV audience. A show with the less-than-imaginative title of "Rove".

La Symphonie du hanneton

It starts in one room: a young man in pajamas lies down and sleeps. He agitates, turns, returns. He is recovering, sits on his bed and a cloud of smoke is coming from his skull, he loses an arm, a leg. He enters a fantasy world where all objects come to life. The swallowed pillow passes his door, a reflection of the mirror emancipates, the portrait of the table rebels and sings his dismay. Dishes and utensils are transformed into a fabulous bestiary where dragon and rhinos are fighting. Gags in cascade, anachronistic nose-feet in acrobatics, juggling on the trapeze, dancing lyric songs, James Thiérrée puts the reality upside down and takes us into a surreal and dreamlike symphony played by interpreters to staggering energy.

L'Aile ou la Cuisse

Charles Duchemin, a well-known gourmet and publisher of a famous restaurant guide, is waging a war against fast food entrepreneur Tri- catel to save the French art of cooking. After having agreed to appear on a talk show to show his skills in naming food and wine by taste, he is confronted with two disasters: his son wants to become a clown rather than a restaurant tester and he, the famous Charles Duchemin, has lost his taste!

The Fisher King

Two troubled men face their terrible destinies and events of their past as they join together on a mission to find the Holy Grail and thus to save themselves.

20 years since the shocking final episode aired on January 19, 2003...On January 19, 2023, the anniversary of the final episode, a gorgeous cast will be in attendance at Theater G Rosso. With Nobuhiro Suzumura, who also served as the director, as MC, a talk event similar to a reunion was held, focusing on reminiscences from the time of filming. In response to many requests for a Blu-ray version, the Blu-ray of "Kamen Rider Ryuki 20th Anniversary Alumni Talk Event" will be released! What exactly happened at the final event of the 20th anniversary, which included the appearance of a secret guest and delivered more cheers than originally expected?

RapLine

Between 1990 and 1993, at a time when rap was not yet on the radio in France, Olivier Cachin hosted a musical TV show on M6 called "RapLine". The show exclusively devoted to rap and other alternative music. This cult show presented all the facets of these emerging movements through interviews, lives and clips made especially for the show, around fifty clips were produced by RapLine. Another sequence of the show consisted of broadcasting new US rap clips subtitled in French.
