Rebecca

Story of a young woman who marries a fascinating widower only to find out that she must live in the shadow of his former wife, Rebecca, who died mysteriously several years earlier. The young wife must come to grips with the terrible secret of her handsome, cold husband, Max De Winter. She must also deal with the jealous, obsessed Mrs. Danvers, the housekeeper, who will not accept her as the mistress of the house.

Borealis

After the mysterious death of his father, Aaron O'Donnell, a ruthless capitalist, decides to take the reins as the leader of Borealis. However, his brother Andrew sets out to hijack his dictatorship and warn not only the residents of Borealis, but all future visitors of the danger Aaron poses.

Interruptus

A "glitch" is a malfunction in a system. Glitch art takes these errors and uses them as moments of aesthetic revelation. Interruptus is a glitch film, comprised completely of strategically halted downloads of digital videos. These broken files are then transformed into a stunning fugue of abstract texture. By subjecting fragments from the film 'Rashomon' by Akira Kurosawa to the mirror effect, Provost creates a hallucinating scene of a woman's reverse chrysalis into an imploding butterfly. Papillon d'amour produces skewed reflections upon love, its lyrical monstrosities and wounded act of dissappearance.

Messages From Home

A short film made in response to returning to home during the Covid pandemic from 2020-2021. A series of vignettes capturing the serene countryside, juxtaposed with a personal voiceover, "Messages From Home" is a meditation on youth, belonging and the capitalist construction of time.

My Throat, My Air

Set in Munich's petty-bourgeois Westend, film documents life at home with former Fassbinder actor, Warhol collaborator, and horror movie director Ulli Lommel. Rather than a straight documentary portrait of this bohemian household, the camera prefers to follow the narrative impulses of the family members. Lost in serious play, the kids improvise hypnotic death scenes while their mother claims to come from a planet where everything is "ethereal and incorporeal." As parent-child relations are unscripted and re-scripted on the fly, the dilated time of a collective daydream is punctuated by the ordinary sounds of an electric toothbrush, vacuum cleaner, and piano.

Kino Kopf

Born from steel and glass Kino Kopf is created by two inventors. They are assembled by their mother, a nurturing artist, and their Father a greedy entrepreneur. Kino Kopf is the first of its kind a sentient humanoid VHS camera. They are given a life by their mother but presented to the world by their father. Kino Kopf is the next big sensation and spurs a technological revolution. They are soon forgotten and alone as new models surpass them. Kino Kopf is left alone to contemplate if they ever had a soul, as visions of an electric cowboy dance through their dreams.
