Anthrax: Kings Among Scotland

Captured February 15-Feb 2017 at the band’s sold-out concert at Glasgow’s historic venue Barrowland Ballroom, the two-hour “Kings Among Scotland” incorporates the band’s entire live show. The concert is presented in two parts. For part one, Anthrax performed the “favorites” that had been voted on pre-show by the band’s fans and includes gems like “Madhouse,” “Be All, End All,” “Breathing Lightning,” and “A.I.R.” The band augmented the stage production for part two, with ramps and staircases and other production values while they tore into their classic 1987 album Among The Living, performing “Caught In A Mosh,” “I Am the Law,” “Indians,” “Eflinikufesin (N.F.L.),” and more. “It was a pretty intense show,” added guitarist Scott Ian, “especially when the crowd was so insane, the floor actually started moving up and down.”

PJ Harvey on Tour: Please Leave Quietly

Filmed during the tour for 2004’s Uh Huh Her (and directed by longtime collaborator Mochnacz), Please Leave Quietly intermixes live footage with backstage antics, street scenes, buggered sound checks and impromptu commentary from tour personnel and bandmates. Often interspliced and edited to a near distracting degree, the live performances are riveting, with Polly Jean displaying a venomous allure in her Oz-red high heels and short-skirted dresses.

Grateful Dead: Sunshine Daydream

Sunshine Daydream is a concert film starring the Grateful Dead. On a blistering summer day in 1972, the Grateful Dead took the stage on the grounds of the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, Oregon. for what would become one of the most legendary concerts of the band’s storied history. Considered to be the Merry Pranksters last "Acid Test", the concert offers a snapshot of the band at the peak of its playing prowess. The setlist that day included memorable performance of "Sugaree, " "Deal, " "Black-Throated Wind, " "Greatest Story Ever Told, " "Bird Song" and a mind-melting version of "Dark Star" that stretches over 30 minutes. The show, which was recorded and filmed but never released, has since become the most-requested live show in Grateful Dead history. A digitally remastered and reedited official version of the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray on September 17, 2013.
