The Lord Loves the Irish

Miles Machree (J. Warren Kerrigan) meets Irish-American Sheila Lynch (Fritzi Brunette) when she travels through Ireland with her father (James O. Barrows). Soon after the Lynch's return to the States, Miles follows, and through his uncle's connections, gets a job on the New York City police force.

Madame du Barry

After Jeanette becomes the mistress of the ambitious Jean du Barry, he marries her off to one of his cousins so that she has an entre to the royal court. She soon becomes the favorite of the King and Jean du Barry becomes a regular around the court too. But all this is disturbed when Madame du Barry falls for Conte Brissac of the King's Guard. Jean du Barry's attempts to expose her affair only get him banished from the court.

The Country Boy

Tom, a young man in a small town, wants to marry his sweetheart Jane, but Jane's father won't allow it until Tom proves he can support her. Tom heads to New York City to make his fortune and prove to Jane's father that he has what it takes, but he meets and falls in love with Amy, a chorus girl who already has a wealthy suitor. In the end, Virgie and her father are able to escape, and Virgie even sings "Polly Wolly Doodle" with the Union soldiers and hugs her father, now a Union officer,

A beautiful young girl, Lola, is a dancer at a private club for wealthy men in New York City. Some of the club members make a bet that Lola can't seduce a young doctor, Jennings. Her attempt fails, and in order to find out why she follows him around and discovers that he runs a clinic on the city's poor Lower East Side. She begins to see the young doctor in a new light, and sets out to help him build the emergency hospital he's always wanted.

The president of a state bank, guilty of malfeasance bribes the District Attorney to suppress the case. The dissolute secretary makes advances on a friend’s wife and as the husband rushes the roue a lamp is upset, plunging the place into darkness. A flash and a shot and the young blackmailer falls to the floor dead. The wife thinks the husband fired in anger, the husband believes the wife shot to protect herself. The District Attorney, the guilty man, is called upon to prosecute and accuses them both. An unexpected witness appears at the last moment and the pair are set free.

The Slim Princess

Kalora is the "slim princess of Morevana," a land in which fat is prized. This distresses her family, who must marry off Kalora, before her rotund younger sister Papova may wed. To remedy this situation, Kalora's father, the governor general, throws a garden party and disguises his slim daughter in an inflated rubber suit. All goes well until the suit ruptures, deflating Kalora to her normal size....

Another Scandal

Beatrix and Pelham Franklin marriage is tested by jealousy and a scheming woman. Beatrix, about to have a baby, sends Pelham on a cruise where he meets the flirtatious May Beamish. Beatrix then provokes a fight by going out with a former admirer, leading to a separation. May tries to take advantage of the situation, but Beatrix ultimately wins back her husband's affection, exposing May's schemes.

Returning Tom is told by his son, now a man, there is no place for him before onlookers. Later, when Tom is found lying unconscious at the bottom of the arroyo, the son is accused and arrested. But Tom has only been stunned by his fall. He testifies that it was an accident, and reconciliation is affected between him and his long-lost family.
