Ivanhoe Martin arrives in Kingston, Jamaica, looking for work and, after some initial struggles, lands a recording contract as a reggae singer. The Stooges, also known as Iggy and The Stooges, is an American rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, first active from 1967 to 1974, and later reformed in 2003. Although they sold few records in their original incarnation, and often performed for indifferent or hostile audiences, the Stooges are widely regarded as instrumental in the rise of punk rock, as well as influential to alternative rock, heavy metal and rock music at large. The Stooges were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked them 78th on their list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.

Iggy Pop: Live San Fran 1981

While this film may look rough and raw to 21st Century eyes, it is also the best representation of Iggy live during an otherwise pitifully undocumented era of his career. Fronting a crack band featuring Blondie drummer Clem Burke and future David Bowie guitarist Carlos Alomar, Pop is as unpredictable and dominant as ever (no small feat since he is sporting a mini skirt, garters and stockings for most of the show). Filmed on November 25 1981 near the end of their tour supporting his 1981 album Party, Iggy and co. are raw and ready for business. Iggy Pop Live 1981 provides a snapshot of a hungry artist at the top of his game in front of an adoring crowd.

The heart of Ireland beats strongly throughout The Destiny Tour, which features an entirely new production with many songs from Destiny. As the country commemorates the events of 100 years ago that led to the nation's independence, Celtic Woman offers a rousing version of "Óró sé do bheatha 'bhaile," an anthem closely connected with the 1916 uprising. The all female ensemble also delivers other timeless traditional Irish songs such as "Bean Pháidín" and "Siúil A Run" highlighting the beauty of Ireland's heritage and its Gaelic language. Alongside newer songs such as "Walk Beside Me" and "The Whole Of The Moon," the show also features reimagined renditions of audience favorites "Amazing Grace" and "You Raise Me Up."

Live at Rocknacht, Germany 1996. Sonic Youth is an American alternative rock band from NewYork City, formed in 1981. In their early career, Sonic Youth was associated with the No Wave art and music scene in New York City. Part of the first wave of American noise rock groups, the band carried out their interpretation of the hardcore punk ethos throughout the evolving American underground that focused more on the DIY ethic of the genre rather than its specific sound. As a result, some consider Sonic Youth as pivotal in the rise of the alternative rock and indie rock movements.

To commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the band's well-established tenure, Behemoth took to one of France's most prestigious venues to hold court for a special, one night engagement at the Philharmonie de Paris. Appropriately titled, Ovtliving Christ, the retrospective set welcomed a sold out audience for an engagement that marked the first ever metal show hosted by the Parisian cultural destination.
