Since many years Echoes, the band around guitarist and singer Oliver Hartmann (Avantasia, Hartmann, ex-Rock Meets Classic), is well known as frontman of the most popular and successful German Pink Floyd Tribute meanwhile touring across Europe and far beyond the borders of Germany. With their successful live DVD/CD "Barefoot To The Moon" (No. #20 at the Media Control Charts Germany 2015), recorded and arranged with pure acoustic instruments and supported by a four-piece string ensemble from Prague, the band has impressively shown that the original's great heritage can be interpreted in an interesting, inspiring and absolutely creative way. Now in early 2019, the group will release their successor and electrical continuation entitled 'Live From The Dark Side (A Tribute To Pink Floyd)", recorded live at 'Rock Of Ages Festival 2018' in Rottenburg-Seebronn, Germany.

Lou Reed - Coney Island Baby Live in Jersey

Lou Reed was wise to chronicle a concert by his early-'80s band, featuring lead guitarist Robert Quine and bassist Fernando Saunders. Reed had used them on his trilogy of strong albums -- The Blue Mask, Legendary Hearts, and New Sensations -- released between 1982 and 1984. This 52-minute video, shot at the Capitol Theater in Passaic, NJ, in 1984, is a straightforward, no-frills live show. Reed, in black T-shirt and black leather pants, stands on-stage before a cityscape background and makes his way through a set that features both a selection of Velvet Underground songs, and his sole hit single, "Walk on the Wild Side," plus highlights from his three recent albums, notably such songs as "I Love You Suzanne." As such, the video makes a good Lou Reed career sampler.

His early death from a drug-related illness placed him in the same rock 'n' roll league as his idols Elvis and Jimi Hendrix. This documentary looks behind the image to reveal the strains of life in the fast lane. It also focuses on Lynott as family man, writer, and black Irishman with a Brazilian father. His musical talents are evident, and even though Carmen believes in him, rock is something that she will not condone. The pain caused by his father's absence and his mother's rejection of his dreams, incite in this young man a hate which he slowly directs towards Carmen and the religion she professes. Driven by his ambitions of success, Pablo makes a pact with the devil. Carmen does everything she can to re-establish her relationship with her son, and faithful to her beliefs, she prays earnestly for him for more than fourteen years.
