One day, Murat, a firefighter from Kadırga, goes to put out a fire at a mansion. Hilmi Pasha's daughter, Müjgân, sees Murat and falls in love with him. Müjgân's brother, Nihat, wants to become a firefighter like Murat. Müjgân and Murat meet again on this occasion. Müjgân confesses her love to Murat in a letter.
