The Stooges, also known as Iggy and The Stooges, is an American rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan, first active from 1967 to 1974, and later reformed in 2003. Although they sold few records in their original incarnation, and often performed for indifferent or hostile audiences, the Stooges are widely regarded as instrumental in the rise of punk rock, as well as influential to alternative rock, heavy metal and rock music at large. The Stooges were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked them 78th on their list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.

Iggy Pop: Live San Fran 1981

While this film may look rough and raw to 21st Century eyes, it is also the best representation of Iggy live during an otherwise pitifully undocumented era of his career. Fronting a crack band featuring Blondie drummer Clem Burke and future David Bowie guitarist Carlos Alomar, Pop is as unpredictable and dominant as ever (no small feat since he is sporting a mini skirt, garters and stockings for most of the show). Filmed on November 25 1981 near the end of their tour supporting his 1981 album Party, Iggy and co. are raw and ready for business. Live at Rocknacht, Germany 1996. Sonic Youth is an American alternative rock band from NewYork City, formed in 1981. In their early career, Sonic Youth was associated with the No Wave art and music scene in New York City. Part of the first wave of American noise rock groups, the band carried out their interpretation of the hardcore punk ethos throughout the evolving American underground that focused more on the DIY ethic of the genre rather than its specific sound. Hereford’s own Ellie Goulding topped the BBC Sound of 2010 list. In the same year she won the Critics Choice BRIT Award. Her presence on Radio 1 started with Under the Sheets, soon singles like Starry Eyed were getting airplay and even the dubstep remix treatment from artists like Jakwob. In the Summer of 2010 she took to the stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend to perform an eclectic selection of songs from her debut album "Lights".

Behemoth - Philharmonie de Paris

To commemorate the 33rd anniversary of the band's well-established tenure, Behemoth took to one of France's most prestigious venues to hold court for a special, one night engagement at the Philharmonie de Paris. Appropriately titled, Ovtliving Christ, the retrospective set welcomed a sold out audience for an engagement that marked the first ever metal show hosted by the Parisian cultural destination.

Anthrax: Kings Among Scotland

Captured February 15-Feb 2017 at the band’s sold-out concert at Glasgow’s historic venue Barrowland Ballroom, the two-hour “Kings Among Scotland” incorporates the band’s entire live show. The concert is presented in two parts. For part one, Anthrax performed the “favorites” that had been voted on pre-show by the band’s fans and includes gems like “Madhouse,” “Be All, End All,” “Breathing Lightning,” and “A.I.R.” The band augmented the stage production for part two, with ramps and staircases and other production values while they tore into their classic 1987 album Among The Living, performing “Caught In A Mosh,” “I Am the Law,” “Indians,” “Eflinikufesin (N.F.L.),” and more. “It was a pretty intense show,” added guitarist Scott Ian, “especially when the crowd was so insane, the floor actually started moving up and down.”

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy the Celebration

The grand finale for Final Fantasy’s 25th birthday was a Distant Worlds concert which took place in Tokyo last year. Square Enix recorded the event and in June you can watch it at home. The Distant Worlds music from Final Fantasy The Celebration has 19 songs performed by the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra with Arnie Roth as the composer.
