The girl took her father’s reaction as indifference and closed herself in her inner world longing for her father’s love and its manifestations. Since that moment she and her dad continued to grow apart, and as an adult she is no longer able to accept his endearments. The father suffers from guilt and searches for a way back to his daughter, trying to revive their lost relationship.

Pollux et le Chat bleu

A blue cat named Buxton is found in the Magic Garden. With help from the Blue voice (played by Fenella Fielding), Buxton enters the ruins of the old treacle factory where he is crowned king after correctly identifying the colours of seven doors (coloured different shades of blue). Buxton throws all the characters of The Magic Roundabout except Dougal into prison and steals Zebedee's magic moustache.

Unfortunately, though the machine provides fingertip control, it is hardly “instant”. When Wallace turns on the TV and is confronted by a hard-hitting penguin documentary, he needs to change channel fast. That’s when Wallace realises the flaw in his design…
