Campofrío: Disfrute en vida

A hymn to life and a tribute "to those who left" in this difficult year are the messages that the company Campofrío launches in its traditional Christmas advertisement, which stars Quique San Francisco and Silvia Abril, among others, and is directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo and Paco Plaza. D.E.V ("Enjoy life") are the initials of Campofrío's 2020 Christmas campaign, a hymn to life in the form of a tribute to those who left and to "all those who continue trying every day to enjoy the gift of life", as the ad itself shows in its final part.

Lonely. Scared. Insecure. But how's it going with you? Is this the first film to be made completely in quarantine? Possibly. 'The Follow-Up' is Ben Berman's follow up film to 'The Amazing Johnathan Documentary (Hulu 2019).

These Uncertain Times

These Uncertain Times is an experimental short film conceived as a way to keep making films during the COVID-19 crisis. The first film maker was given no prompt, no story, no line of dialogue; nothing, and was tasked with filming and cutting the first 60 seconds of a short film. This was then handed off to the next film maker who continued the story with their own 60 seconds and handing it off to the next film maker. Each artist only having 24 hours to complete their section.

Lockdown

Lockdown is a comic thriller about living in quarantine. The Netherlands is hit hard by the corona crisis. This goes for Theater Group Maastricht as well. If all theaters close their doors on government orders, bankruptcy is imminent. Artistic leader Michel is very concerned. He worries about the future of his company, but also about his own health. He has asthma and belongs to the so-called risk groups. Nor does his hypochondria help. Fortunately, good friend and companion Servé comes up with a solution. What if they play the Oresteia, the play with which they would premiere soon, via the internet? Just from their living rooms? In this way they can still attract a bit of public interest and possibly close the highest financial need pending help from the government.

In a whirlpool of emotions she clashes with her worried parents, her little sister overreacts to the virus and even her usually calm friend Hirai starts to build up frustration. In the middle of all that, she re-unites with Tanaka, who gave her the opportunity to absorb herself in painting, clashes with Hirai over their true feelings and tries to face her own future.
