The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father. Jack finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.

Today, with this film, the images of Waco Foundation responds to Dr. King’s challenge by tracing our heritage- from the Waco Indians and the Spanish Conquistadors, through the frontier days of the Chisholm Trail, to the suspension bridge and the founding of our colleges and universities- to show how the quality of life Wacoans currently enjoy emerges from a complex tapestry woven from the dreams and efforts of our forebears. The breathtaking images of Waco captured in this evocative film challenge us to acknowledge and appreciate the qualities of today’s Waco and build on our glorious heritage to create an even better community for our children.

Waco, the Big Lie is a 1993 American documentary film directed by Linda Thompson that presents video-based analysis regarding the Waco siege. The first film made about the Waco siege, Waco, the Big Lie gained significant notoriety when it was viewed during the trial of American domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh. As part of the defense, McVeigh's lawyers showed Waco, the Big Lie to the jury.

Koichi Haruyama, who works at the Morita Automobile Factory, was driving a convertible through Ginza in search of accident sites. He buys cars that have been damaged in accidents at a low price and scraps them for his own company. He uses the money he earns in this way to pay back Kanda Trading. Morita, the president of the company, is suspicious about the identity of Kanda Trading, from whom he borrowed money. However, what is borrowed must be repaid, and Koichi drives to Toyokawa to beg his grandfather for money as his scrap business is not going well. The plot of the film starts at the beginning of the century, in the heyday of the Andrássy and Károlyi families, during the ever increasing crisis of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and ends with the emigration of the Károlyi couple after the collapse of the 1918-19 revolutions. It tells the story of this historical period (war, revolution, take-over by the proletariat, dictatorship) from the view of an extremely wealthy lady, Andrássy Katinka. The authors tried to evoke the special story during which a strange and unique woman gets thoroughly involved in history through her love and at the same time keeps her own identity and self-governance.

Vörös Hajnal (Red Dawn), a co-operative is the venue of skylarking, while the storm destroys the wheat which is to be harvested soon. Árendás, a middle-peasant, voices severe accusations against members of the co-operative: out of negligence, they failed to keep the ditches clean. Members of the co-operative and the village people are deeply divided.
