In a society where appearance matters a lot, losing the identity of one’s own face and body can be one of the greatest tragedies imaginable. This unique documentary series shows the challenges faced by five disfigured survivors for whom the nightmare became reality. It tries to understand how these affected and fragile people rebuilt themselves, how they learned to love life again and how they kept hope for the future.

At Your Service

At Your Service is an Irish makeover television programme, the first series of which was broadcast on RTÉ One in 2008. It is a creation of Waddell Media, who are behind How Long Will You Live? and Looking For Love. Presented by expert hotelier brothers Francis and John Brennan of the five-star Park Hotel in Kenmare, County Kerry, the premise of the show is that business makeovers are given by the duo to B&Bs, guesthouses and small hotels across Ireland. The advice given covers various aspects of management, including staffing, catering arrangements, menus, room inspections and indoor and outdoor redecoration. Francis is responsible for the main inspection, whilst John investigates financial issues, searches for new marketing opportunities and advises on how to develop in the future. Francis is particularly known for his meticulous attention to detail.

Great Crimes and Trials is an early 1990s BBC documentary television series. The program consists of archival material combined with never before seen interviews to reconstruct a renowned crime, examining the felon's motives, details of the crime, the investigations and the trial. Each episode is narrated by actor Robert Powell. In the United Kingdom the program is shown on weekdays on the Crime & Investigation Network. The first series was released on DVD by Columbia Tristar in 2005, and the third series was released on DVD by Network DVD in 2011. The first and second series were released on video by Columbia Tristar in 1997.
