Based on Nuevas' comics novel, Kukulayan Ko Ang Langit, the series follows the ill-fated life story of Lena, a provincial lass who has been conned by a rich-looking Manila boy into joining him to the city of her mother’s fantasy. She sets foot on the big, bad city and is quickly transformed into prostitute. The series ended on January 18, 2013. It ran for 15 weeks with a total of 75 episodes to be replacing by Forever on January 21, 2013.

It banners Dingdong Dantes, Lorna Tolentino, Christopher de Leon and Max Collins as the four main characters. The series is under the direction of Maryo J. delos Reyes. The show is part of the network's line-up of primetime shows for the last quarter of 2012, along with Aso ni San Roque, Temptation of Wife and Paroa: Ang Kuwento ni Mariposa. The series ended on March 15, 2013 and replaced by Mundo Mo'y Akin on its timeslot. The series ran for 16 weeks with 80 episodes overall.

Goodbye Solo is a 2006 South Korean television series starring Chun Jung-myung, Yoon So-yi, Kim Min-hee, Bae Jong-ok, Lee Jae-ryong, Kim Nam-gil, and Na Moon-hee. It aired on KBS2 from March 1 to April 20, 2006 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes. In the urban melodrama, seven lead characters of different generations and backgrounds are all haunted by loneliness; they gradually interact and form a "family" borne out of emotional connection and mutual understanding. Renowned for her in-depth, realistic portrayals of ordinary lives, writer Noh Hee-kyung said that the drama's theme is that all human beings are beautiful just the way they are, simply by existing in the world.
