Sapphire & Steel

Sapphire & Steel is a British television science-fiction fantasy series starring David McCallum as Steel and Joanna Lumley as Sapphire. Produced by ATV, it ran from 1979 to 1982 on the ITV network. The series was created by Peter J. Hammond who conceived the programme under the working title The Time Menders, after a stay in an allegedly haunted castle. Hammond also wrote all the stories except for the fifth, which was co-written by Don Houghton and Anthony Read. None of the stories had onscreen titles, or any official titles assigned by the writers. The Region 1 Complete Series DVD release gives the titles "Escape Through a Crack in Time", "The Railway Station", "The Creature's Revenge", "The Man Without a Face", "Dr. McDee Must Die" and "The Trap", respectively. These titles have often been cited as having been created by science fiction magazine Time Screen.

Samurai Jack

A great warrior is displaced to the distant future by the evil shape-shifting wizard Aku. The world has become a bleak place under the rule of Aku, segregated into fantastic tribes and ruled by Aku's evil robot warlords. Jack travels this foreign landscape in search of a time portal that can return him to his home time so he can "undo the future that is Aku!".

Tenko

Based on real-life experiences, Tenko remains one of the most fondly remembered and acclaimed BBC dramas of the early 1980s. It follows a group of women, formerly comfortably well-off ex-pats living in Singapore, as they are captured by the Japanese during World War II.

Sticky Moments

Sticky Moments was a satirical British television game show that aired on Channel 4 in 1989 and 1990. It was hosted by the comedian Julian Clary.

Wanida (Aff) is the daughter of Dao, a loan shark. She is beautiful, lovely, brave and strong-will. The two met in an accident and quickly develop dislike feeling for each other, due to their very contrast personality. However, fate seems to have its own plan for them. Lek, Khun Prajak’s brother borrowed some money from Dao and was unable to pay the debt. Dao gave him a condition for him to marry his daughter to cancel the debt. However, Lek ran away and left Khun Prajak to replace him. Without knowing anything, Wanida agreed to the wedding and then their chaotic marriage finally begins...

In 1992, Phet, a young singer in a pub, dreams of being famous with his supportive girlfriend Preapim. But Pim's father didn't like Phet, so he planned Pim's engagement with Pisanu. Pim and Phet then fled to live together in Hua Hin. One day, both of them went to visit the temple fair where they argue and get separated. Phet meets a fortuneteller who takes him 20 years into the future. There, he sees the much older Pim with her daughter and husband Phitsanu. Going to his old house, Phet learns that he died on the night of the temple fair with Pim. He then decides to stay in the future to investigate the cause of his own death, in order to go back and fix the past events and not let himself die.
