The top fifteen teams to come out of the grueling auditions travel to the Hilltop Resort in the Hluhluwe Nature Reserve in Zululand. Judges Bertus Basson and Marthinus Ferreira watch as the teams compete in their first challenge for the title.
2013
The new teams converge at the Monkey Valley Resort in Noordhoek, Cape Town for the start of an epic 70-day culinary road trip where teams will face new challenges in pursuit of the title, the cash, the new 4x4 Renault Duster and other awesome prizes.
2014
This season is sure to be the most challenging yet as Justin & the judges have new twists & surprises in store for the contestants. The fifteen new teams start their journey with the first challenge in the desolate Karoo.
2015
The teams begin the season on a canal cruise at the Cape St Francis resort. The next day, teams must utilize the Game Store for the ingredients for their first challenge. The top three teams become Crew Captains & choose their crews.
2017
13 teams arrive in Cape Town for the first leg of the competition. The teams visit Justin Bonello's NPO Neighbourhood Farms where they're allowed to pick their own herbs and veg before the first challenge, to make something indicative of themselves.
2019
Ten new teams of competitors brave the elements and take on new challenges as they embark on a rigorous journey across Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.
