Tor is the illegitimate child of a millionaire and a poor woman. His mother is the "mia noi" or lesser wife and Tor is the millionaire's youngest son. Tor's stepmother, who is the first wife also has a son, named Sawit, or Ae, as people call him. Tor and his mother are treated very harshly by his stepmother and brother. Eventually, his mother dies of pain from abuse while he is still a kid. After his mother's death, he befriends a girl next door named Mintha, who is also a stepchild. Tor and Min have many things in common and it brings them close together. One day, Ae and Mintha's half sister, Kwan bullies Tor to the point he fights them back.

Waterloo Road

Waterloo Road is a UK television drama series the first broadcast was in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 9 March 2006. Originally set in a troubled comprehensive school in Rochdale, England, the location of the show was moved to the former Greenock Academy in Greenock, Scotland in 2012. The series focuses on the lives of the school's teachers and students, and confronts social issues such as extramarital affairs, abortion, divorce, child abuse, and suicide. Waterloo Road is produced by Shed Productions, the company responsible for Bad Girls and Footballers' Wives.

Teachers Only

Teachers Only is an NBC television sitcom centered around the faculty of a high school; in the first season the school was Millard Fillmore High in Los Angeles, but in the second it is Woodrow Wilson High in New York with a changed cast. In both seasons Norman Fell played Principal Ben Cooper, but Lynn Redgrave's character, Diana Swanson, who had been an English teacher in the first season, became a guidance counselor in the second season. Redgrave and Fell were already established names when this show aired, but two of the supporting stars in the second season, Jean Smart would go on, three years later, to play her best known role, that of interior design studio receptionist Charlene Frazier Stillfield on the long running show, Designing Women. Also, Jean's co-star Teresa Ganzel became well known for her many game show appearances in the 1980s as well as her appearance in the comedic miniseries, Fresno. This show ran for only two seasons, in 1982 and 1983.
