Six singles who have tried everything in the search for great love are matched by a team of experts. In front of the television cameras, they will then get married, even though they have never met before. The couple will live as husband and wife for four weeks. If love arises, the experiment has been successful, if not - they must divorce. Could an arranged marriage be the way to great love?

Shedding for the Wedding

They are two of the most stressful things in life - planning a wedding and losing weight. Ten overweight engaged couples will live together and battle for the wedding of their dreams over a three-month period. Every episode, the couples will face off in a big physical challenge, competing to win one element of their wedding - from the invitations, to the cake, to the rings. Whatever they win will be theirs to keep. Together, they will plan their weddings with the help of the nation's top wedding planners, they will take a vow to eat right and exercise, and world-class trainers and nutritionists will completely overhaul their bodies. At the end of each episode, the couples will step on the scale and be weighed together - the couple who lost the least amount of combined weight that week will be eliminated. In the end, one couple will win their fantasy wedding - a once-in-a-lifetime event - that America will attend.

Married at First Sight

The cart comes way before the horse in the reality series "Married at First Sight." Based on a hit Danish format, "Married..." features people who agree to participate in an extreme experiment: Each covenants legal marriage with a complete stranger. Specialists -- including a spiritualist, a relationship coach and a sociologist -- use scientific matchmaking methods to determine each couple, who will not have met or had contact with each other until the wedding day. The series then documents the relationships, including honeymoons and other relatable events of married life. After several weeks, each couple must decide whether to remain together or go their individual ways.

Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave was a reality television show produced by Fernando Hernández for Music Television. It followed the lives of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro through the events leading up to their anything-but-traditional wedding, culminating with the marriage ceremony and reception. The show first aired on MTV on January 21, 2004 and ran for 7 episodes. The final episode aired on March 3, 2004. Electra and Navarro were married on November 22, 2003. The couple separated on July 18, 2006, and Electra filed for divorce on August 10, 2006. On February 20, 2007 their divorce was finalized.

The Real Wedding Crashers

The Real Wedding Crashers is an American prank/hidden camera series on NBC, inspired by the 2005 film Wedding Crashers, that premiered on April 23, 2007. The series was produced by Ashton Kutcher, Karey Burke, Rich Meehan, Jon Kroll, Jim Rosenthal and Jason Goldberg with RDF USA, the production company of shows like Wife Swap, in association with New Line Television, part of the studio that produced the film. No one among the show's main cast and crew were involved in the original film, nor were the cast and crew of the film involved with the series. It was announced on May 7, 2007, that the series would be pulled after three episodes. NBC subsequently announced on its website that a fourth episode would air on May 28, 2007. NBC announced on July 20, 2007 that the show was not renewed. The two episodes not aired on NBC have subsequently aired on the Style Network.
