Birds of a Feather

Birds of a Feather is a British sitcom that was broadcast on BBC One from 1989 until 1998 and on ITV from 2013. Starring Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, it was created by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, who also wrote some of the episodes along with many other writers. The first episode sees sisters Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodos brought together when their husbands are sent to prison for armed robbery. Sharon, who lived in an Edmonton council flat, moves into Tracey's expensive house in Chigwell, Essex. Their next-door neighbour, and later friend, Dorien Green is a middle-aged married woman who is constantly having affairs with younger men. In the later series the location is changed to Hainault. The series ended on Christmas Eve 1998 after a 9-year-run.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Don't Panic! The story of Arthur Dent, an average Englishman who life was spared by his friend, who turned out to be an alien, while the planet Earth is destroyed. His friend tells him about the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a guide with anything you ever needed, and wanted to know. They travel across the galaxy, meeting friendly, and not so friendly characters in order to find the great question (the answer being 42).

When an unknown virus begins to spread across the globe, an average college student, by the name of Mina, takes it upon herself to find a way to stop it, before it destroys the world. Traveling back in time, to the place where she believes the virus first made its appearance, Mina appears directly in front of the painfully timid Kim Yo Han. Informing Yo Han that she’s here from the future to prevent a viral apocalypse, Yo Han can’t decide if the woman standing before him is telling the truth, or just trying to play some sick prank. Realizing Yo Han doesn’t believe her, Mina explains her situation further and admits that her research has led her to this exact moment for one very simple reason: As the carrier of the virus, Yo Han is the reason the world is about to end.

The Awesomes

After Mr. Awesome announces his retirement as leader of The Awesomes, a superhero task force, his not-so-super son Prock (Seth Meyers) fills the roster with previously rejected applicants, but despite their incompetence and general lack of ability, the team must band together to battle diabolical villains, the ever-present paparazzi, and a less-than-ideal reputation as second-class superheroes.

Doomlands

The infamous Danny Doom and ambitious bartender, Lhandi, pour beers across a desolate wasteland in their mobile pub named The Oasis. Danny and his comrades face ruthless desert gangs, creeps with the power to steal memories, and, perhaps the worst thing of all, bathroom graffiti.

Hard Cell

A Netflix comedy series written and directed by Catherine Tate set in a women's prison. Tate plays multiple characters as a documentary crew follows the inmates and staff of HMP Woldsley capturing the penal system at its brutal humorous best.

The Critic

The Critic is an American prime time animated series created by writing partners Al Jean and Mike Reiss, who had previously worked as writers and showrunners on The Simpsons. The show follows the life of a 36-year-old film critic from New York named Jay Sherman, voiced by Jon Lovitz. 23 episodes were produced, first broadcast on ABC in 1994 and finishing its original run on Fox in 1995.
